"My beautiful daughter's speech was slightly delayed and many of her words were pronounced incorrectly e.g. she would say “bag” for “big”, and “bad” for “bed”, making it difficult to understand her. She had been with other speech therapists for 2 years before we enlisted with Georgia and sadly, I feel like we wasted so much time and money, with other therapists who simply misdiagnosed her. We started at the beginning of the Covid pandemic, which made some of our sessions a little tricky, but we jumped straight in using lots of creativity. What immediately stood out for me was the intensive and detailed assessment that was done, from looking at her facial profile right through to how she sat when saying certain words. This detailed report pointed out many things and simplified others that had never been addressed or picked up before.

There was hardly a session that my daughter did not want to attend, as Georgia was always so warm, kind, and playful with her. The three of us developed a very special bond which just added to the amazing process and rapid progress that was seen and heard, in the correction of my daughter's speech problem.

Our initial assessment included filming my daughter saying certain words and when looking back at her progress and where she ended up with Georgia, it actually brings me to tears to reflect on the journey and I know that no one else could have had the same impact on my daughter and her development.

Today, a few years later, my daughter is the chatter box of her class who wants to be on stage and her love for speaking and extended vocabulary is a force to reckoned with.
